The pandemic has reminded us of the great paradox of our time: the necessity for cooperation in tackling collective challenges and yet, the fragility of the global system. The European Union and Japan share a common understanding of this situation and a political willingness to remedy it.
During this online conference speakers from Europe and Japan shared their perspectives on how the two partners can work together, jointly with other like-minded countries, to improve global collaboration and multilateralism in areas such as health, climate, and trade.
This event is organised in cooperation with Kobe University Graduate school of economics.
