Associate Director, VVA

Virginia is an Italian national, working as an Associate Director for VVA since January 2020. Previously she worked as an Independent Consultant for EU consultancies, Law Firms, Public & Private Institutions. Virginia holds a Master’s degree in Law from the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna. She also has a Master’s degree in children’s rights from the Graduate School of Social & Political Science of the University of Edinburgh. She completed various post-graduate courses in Civil/Criminal Law, EU & International Law.

Virginia has more than fifteen years of experience in leading legal/policy studies and managing multi-country projects at national, international and EU level. Over the years, Virginia worked for various EU/international organizations such as the Council of Europe, the EU for Fundamental Rights, UNICEF, EU consultancies, law firms and human rights NGOs. In addition to her mother tongue, she speaks English and French.
