Sigurd works primarily with our Energy & Climate and Public Finance & Financial Markets services. He has extensive experience in financial market regulation, taxation and energy policies with a substantial international focus.

Especially, he excels at identifying key issues and explain the results in a clear and straightforward manner. His expertise has, among others, helped the European Parliament’s Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection with an assessment on various options for applying VAT to digital services.

Sigurd has worked for OECD in Paris and the EU Commission in Brussels and taught Economics at both Copenhagen University and Copenhagen Business School.
