Research assistant

Lucia, an Italian citizen, holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Sapienza University in Rome and a Master of Arts in European Economics from College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium).She currently is a Ph.D. student in Economics at the Economics School of Louvain of the Louvain Academy (Belgium). Before joining Bruegel, she worked as Research and Teaching Assistant at the Louvain Business School of Universite’ catholique de Louvain.

Lucia’s main research interests are European public finance, taxation, and the application of fiscal federalism theories to the EU integration process. She is fluent in English, French, and Italian.
