Katja, a Croatian citizen, joined Bruegel in December 2014. She holds a Master degree in English language and literature and French language and literature. Before coming to Bruegel, she completed a traineeship in the European Commission, and previously she worked as a teacher and a translator. She is also a writer and a poet, and has been internationally awarded and published. She speaks Croatian, English, and French.
