Emanuela Dimonte

Public Funding Manager

Emanuela is part of the Development Team since 2020, supporting the implementation of Bruegel's fundraising and partnership strategy. She is in charge of identifying and securing public funding for Bruegel’s research staff and research program and managing the awarded projects by promoting and maintaining relations with project partners, contractors, and funding authorities.

Her project portfolio covers wide areas of Bruegel’s research streams such as European micro- and macroeconomics, European governance, Finance, Innovation and Competition, Financial Literacy.

As part of her tasks, she also supports expanding partnerships with foundations, other think tanks and research institutions.
Before joining Bruegel, Emanuela worked in international consulting firms where she managed multiple EU-funded collaborative R&D&I projects under Horizon 2020 program while being the interface with the funding authorities regarding all the administrative, legal and financial aspects as well as contributing to the design and development of proposals.

She is also engaged in developing and delivering ad hoc training and lectures focused on EU-funded project management tasks and approaches.

Emanuela holds an M.A. in Economics (Law and Business Administration) from the University of Trento, Italy.

She speaks fluent English and Italian (native) and has a good knowledge of French.
