I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Government at Harvard University.

My research focuses on international political economy and international institutions. My book project--Moral Brokerage: Political Origins of Linkages Between Trade and Environmental Issues--explains how the domestic and international political institutional context provides opportunities for politically weak value-based issue advocates to infiltrate the iron curtain of the trade policy-making process despite opposition from powerful pro-trade businesses.

I received my B.A. in French Language and Literature, and M.A. in Political Science both from Korea University in Seoul, Korea.
