Annela is a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Sustainability Leadership, at the University of Cambridge, and Chief Executive of the  Cambridge Trust for New Thinking in Economics. She is also a Government Adviser for the Estonia Ministry and has been elected as Vice-Chair of the UNFCCC  Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA).
