Tanja works at Bruegel as a research assistant. Before joining Bruegel, she worked for the Macroeconomic Statistics Division of the European Central Bank as a research analyst.

She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Zagreb.

Her research interests include economic policy, inequalities, behavioural and international economics.

Tanja is a native Croatian speaker, fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of German.
