Patrizia Bussoli

Patrizia Bussoli is responsible of Fixed Income Asset Allocation at Fideuram Investimenti sgr, since March 2005. She develops and implements the fixed income strategic view on benchmark and total return products. She is also in charge for the development of quantitative tools to support the equity-bond strategic decision.

Previously, Patrizia was a fund manager for credit, ABS and structured products in Nextra sgr, in Milan and was invited as a speaker at the most relevant international seminars on ABS. She worked for some years as macroeconomist at Deutsche Bank, London, in Global Market Research, covering emerging markets economies, the Euro Area and then focused on the development of quantitative models on exchange rates.

Patrizia attended Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona, Spain) where she obtained a Master in Economics cum laude and a PhD in Economics with honours, specializing in International Economics. She graduated at Bocconi University (Milan,Italy) with a degree in Economics (110/110 cum laude). She was a professor for International Economics at Pompeu Fabra. Between 2004 and 2010 she taught at SDA Bocconi a course on country risk for the MBA program. She worked as a researcher at Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei in Milan and she published several working papers. She temporarily served the European Commission, DGII - Economics and Finance, where she contributed with a paper on the Euro future, published as working paper by the European Commission.
