Matteo Bugamelli

Matteo Bugamelli has been at the Banca d’Italia since 1997. He is Deputy Head of theEconomic Structure and Labour Market Division in the Structural Economic Analysis Department (Research Area).

His research covers issues related to international trade,exchange rate pass-through, firms’ productivity, international migration andremittances. He earned a PhD in Economics from Columbia University in 2000, and his Bachelor Degree at the University of Bologna in 1991.
