Fabiano Schivardi

Fabiano Schivardi is Professor of Economics at the University of Cagliari and a researchfellow at Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance, the Centre for European PolicyResearch and Centro Studi Luca D’Agliano.

His main areas of interest are industrialorganisation and applied microeconomics. After obtaining his PhD from StanfordUniversity in 1998, he worked in the research department of the Bank of Italy until2006. He has been a visiting scholar at Harvard University. His work has beenpublished in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Political Economy,Journal of the European Economic Association, Journal of Labour Economics and theEconomic Journal.
