Ariane is a 23-year-old Dutch citizen. She joined Bruegel as a Development intern in September 2016. She has an MSc in Applied Economic Sciences and minored in Political Sciences during her Bachelor. Prior to her position at Bruegel she has been an intern at the Belgian development agency (BTC) and a trainee at the Economic section of the Belgian Embassy to the United States in Washington DC.

She speaks Dutch, French and English fluently.
