Amma, a Ghanaian citizen, holds a Master's degree in economic theory from the Toulouse School of Economics and a Bachelor's in mathematics applied to social sciences from Dartmouth College, USA. 

Her previous work experience includes project management on a cell phone literacy initiative based in Dakar, Senegal and internships with Barclays Bank and an international microfinance organisation.

Her resarch interests broadly fall within international economics and applied microeconometrics. She is fluent in English and can make herself understood in French.

A flexible, scaleable approach to the international patent 'name game'

The inventors in PATSTAT are often duplicates: the same person or company may be split into multiple entries in PATSTAT, each associated to different patents. In this paper, we address this problem with an algorithm that efficiently de-duplicates the data.
